Which MMA fight would of changed the landscape of MMA had it gone differently ?

Was just thinking if any fights had gone differently, would they of changed the MMA today as we know it today ?

The ones i feel could of had an effect would be :

Ken Shamrock vs Gracie

Would MMA be where it is if bjj didnt prove to be so dominant and fundamental ?

Randy Couture vs James Toney

The highest profile fight between a boxer and MMA fighter. If Toney won MMA would of lost almost all credibility.

Griffin vs Bonnar

If the fight wasnt like a drunken brawl or if it was boring or lopsided. Would UFC have grown so much ?

How bout WMMA. Would it be where it is or bigger even had Gina of beaten Cyborg ?

Nogueira vs Fedor would've been huge for the HW division, both at the time and with regard to the HW GOAT discussion

Sakuraba vs the Gracies (pick one). The Royce fight gets the most attention because of the spectacle, but the Renzo fight was the most dangerous for Saku, and if any of those fights went the other way it would've been huge.

Matt Huges vs Royce Gracie. So, most of us who actually follow the sport knew this was going to be a slaughter, but there were A LOT of more casual fans who were convinced that we might see some bjj "magic". If old man Royce had managed to pull off a submission victory I think it would've been absolutely huge for both MMA and BJJ.

If Art Jimmerson knocked out Royce Gracie it would've changed the entire sport of MMA, the UFC might not have lasted long enough for the Fertittas to come around.

Royce losing to Shamrock but winning his earlier fights might have generated enough intrigue for the UFC to grow.

And I say all this despite believing that most of the Gracie family are just con artists.

- If Overeem had fought Bigfoot in the Strikeforce GP. There was the possibility that Bigfoot would have beat Overeem. If Overeem lost, he wouldn't have come into the UFC with nearly as much hype as he did. If Bigfoot lost, Overeem would have stayed in Strikeforce longer. Lesnar vs Overeem probably wouldn't have happened either way. Lesnar could have remained in the UFC longer. DC wouldn't be that big of a name upon signing with the UFC. Either Overeem or Bigfoot would have taken longer to arrive in the UFC. They were big parts of the UFC Heavyweight division in 2012/2013.

And if Barnett or Overeem won the Grand Prix, we could have seen them fight Cain Velasquez after the UFC-Strikeforce merger happened in 2013. DC had no interest in getting in Cain's way back then.

- Rampage Jackson vs Chuck Liddell 1. Liddell would have fought Wanderlei in the PRIDE GP finals.
