When did Jon Jones became a draw?

Jones needs a big name rival else nobody wants to pay $60 to watch him dominate. Hence why he and DC did so well, and if Rumble would have made it to a title shot, probably would have sold well too.
dc doesnt do 900k other than jones

Source?

Oh yeah, you're just guessing.

Cool
1. Mir got two years as a first time offender for the same substance.
2. USADA doubles the suspension length for second time offenders (a la Anderson Silva getting 1 year for a tainted supplement instead of the normal 6 months).
3. Jones lied about his USADA-mandated tutorials and had his signature forged.
4. Jones lied on his supplement control form.

2 years (first time offender precedent) * Double Suspension (second time offender precedent) - 0 Leniency (lied about tutorials and supplements) = 4 years

Delusional fans ignore precedent.
Conspiracy theorists ignore that USADA makes most of its money outside of the UFC, so bribery wouldn't be worth it for them.

In relevance to Jones' ruling?

Which hasn't happened?

C'mon dude, we all know this hasn't happened yet. Stop slam dunking without the ball:rolleyes:

He is a pretty good draw, I would not say he is a massive draw. But when you compare him to what’s in the company right now he is pretty big. Like most he needs a good dance partner.

How are you going to list the relevant numbers but leave Jon jones out in a thread about Jones? Other than that i approve of this message.

He's not....No matter how much the UFC tried to make him a draw, the Young White American Male UFC fanbase, never accepted him thus his PPV numbers were crap unless it was Black on Black Crime....Which the Young White American Male UFC fanbase loves.

They hated him from the start...He was against pot...He then beat their boy shogun and the hate never stopped.

UFC lacks so many stars right now, that they still think they can turn Jones into the next muhammad ali, which is what they originally thought.

LOL at the 2 boneheads below. They didnt read the OP and are only responding to the thread title. Look at them ramble on from only the persepective of their bubble

Jones is and never has been a star. Jones isn't even in the top 5

1. Conor McGregor

-UFC 189: McGregor vs Mendes - 825k
-UFC 194: McGregor vs Aldo - 1.025 mil
-UFC 196: McGregor vs Diaz 1 - 1.32 mil
-UFC 202: McGregor vs Diaz 2 - 1.65 mil
-UFC 205: McGregor vs Alvarez - 1.3 mil
* McGregor vs Mayweather - 4.3 mil

Total amount of PPV's sold: 10'420'000(including Mayweather) 6'120'000 (excluding)
Average number of PPV buys: 1'736'666(including Mayweather) 1'224'000 (excluding)

*Very impressive to see the total and average amount of PPV's sold with so little fights in the UFC. McGregor is definitely "P4P' the top draw the UFC has ever had, including or excluding the Mayweather fight.

*George St-Pierre is the fighter who sold the most amount of PPV's at 11.1 mil. GSP is a very consistent draw. If it wasn't for his average number of PPV's being 500k - 1 mil lower to McGregor's, he would be N.1.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Total amount of PPV's sold: 9'304'000
Average number of PPV buys: 547'294

*Although his average number of sales is much lower than the fighters above him, he was the main or co-main event on 17 UFC cards

When he beat Stephan Bonner at such a young age doing all types of slick shit during the fight... that put him on people's radar...

My uncle and all his middle aged friends who aren't into combat sports were going NUTS.... called me as the fight ended to ask if I saw that crazy son of gun and let me know that they coined the phrase SPINNING BLACK FIST! It was hilarious hearing em all hyped up.

The question is does Jones draw, not if he is a "star." Outside of Conor, GSP, Ronda, AS and Lesnar, Jones is the next best draw. He is probably a bigger draw than AS in 2018. He did good numbers against Cormier, Rampage and Rashad. Even 300k vs OSP isn't that bad.

Lol come on man, you sound just like Jon. Blaming everyone else for his problems.

He spoke out against pot and the hit a pregnant woman and was to concerned with getting caught with his pot that he just ran away.

All the hate he gets is well deserved. He is a bad person that tried to pretend to be a good one.

Nobody was buying his nice guy bullshit, that is why he was never a big sell.

Weidman did the exact same shit...He played the "I'm a nice/humble guy who just likes fighting" bit..........and most MMA fans bought into it.

I knew he was fake/cocky as fuck even before he became a crybaby.....Yet MMA fans never suspected him of being fake until his true personality was revealed which I sensed back in 2013 when he beat Anderson Silva.

It's funny how people sensed that on Jon Jones but not on Weidman.....Im sure race didn't play a part at all LMFAO.

Could you maybe show me where Jones got that sentence?
You know, an actual source pertaining to the subject we're discussing, not Frank Mir?

We both know you can't, because there isn't one. But by all means, keep having fun living in your fairytale land sherbro.

When has Weidman ever been more of a draw than Jones?

No one bought his bullshit either and now nobody likes the guy except his most diehard fanboys.

Muhammad Ali, Floyd Maywheather and Bruce Lee are the three most famous fighters of all time, none of them are white.

Conor is the first white person to reach this height. Brock has reached it as well but I don’t consider him a fighter.

The whole reason Jones isn’t a huge draw is because he is a very unlikeable person, not unlike Weidman.
