Obviously Conor isn't anywhere GOAT, but when he beat Aldo there was definitely a ''there's something special about this guy'' type of feeling. He was on his way there at that point.

Had he fought RDA as planned after Aldo and taken the LW belt, then defended the FW belt 2 times and the LW belt 2 times as well then retired, he would arguably be top 3 GOAT.

All that being said, he made more money boxing Floyd than he would have done in 8 UFC fights, so I fully understand Conor for doing what he did. He's in there for the money, not the GOAT status.
