Can't fail if you never even try. None of the top guys even have an amateur record in boxing. Kickboxing and Muay Thai are very popular there. It's possible to train and get good at kickboxing without having failed or even tried boxing...

Is this a joke ? There currently are undefeated boxers with belts in different weight classes.

There are many boxers ranked higher than Beterbiev. He's stuck in the LHW division because afraid of real challenge. We will likely never see him above the LHW division.

Artur isn't ranked number 1 in his division. I believe Bivol is still ranked higher than him. There is some tomfoolery with Bivol not eligible to fight for the WBC belt because he is a Russian citizen. Most importantly is that both guys aren't really a draw in the West. It's tough to sell a Russian vs Russian fight to Americans. Russia is also not having any competitions due to the war. It makes more sense for them both to fight UK/US challengers.

Artur is definitely not some GOAT when you compare him with every boxer throughout every weight class. There are a few undisputed champions in boxing that are still active now. They own 4 major belts. There are also guys who vacate one of the four belts but never lost them.
