It's a pseudo-national event that gives people who need pseudoevents to feel they are part of a group a wonderful sense of meaning, well-being and cohesion.
Likewise, it gives the people who thinks they are not sheep, can think for themselves and do just fine without all that palaver a wonderful sense of meaning, well-being and cohesion. Everyone wins - Except for the poor, sick and/or overworked, who very much could have put all that tax money to better use than a clunky dress and gold cake for a thousand rich celebs.

Yes I did see pics. Two different dresses flew up. Very nice buns and thighs, not fatty, not ultra toned. I think they were from airport landings. Paparazzi should be prepared for better angles next time.
