I wouldn't put some of those movies in the same category as Goodfellas/Mob movies, so I had to go with Snatch.

Too hard to pick. Goodfellas/Godfather series or flip flop the two.

Some of the listed movies I wouldn't say are mafia/mob films, however I gotta say they're all together in my Blu-Ray collection.

Snatch
Reservoir Dogs
Lock Stock....
Pulp Fiction
The Usual Suspects are borderline Mob flicks but opinions vary.

One movie I would say to watch if you're into mob movies is Millers Crossing. Great acting, great time period piece AND definitely entrenched in Irish and Italian mafia lore. Happy watching

Goodfellas

I feel like there is really no significant weakness to this film. Legendary direction and acting, great soundtrack (and era appropriate), great plot, memorable character, and just overall entertaining.

Everybody always picks Blood In Blood Out but that movie is corny as fuck
I hate that shit
Both of these movies are based on the same story but American Me is much more realistic and way less cheesy than Blood In
Several people involved with American Me were actually murdered by the Mexican Mafia because of their involvement in this movie and the story it told

Thank you. Blood in Blood out is corny as shit. American Me is a really well made flick.

As for the people killed over the film -they were real Mexican Mafia consultants and they were killed over the early rape scene involving Edward James' character if I'm not mistaken.

On topic, as a Chicago guy I have to roll with Casino -I love Goodfellas too but it's NYC. And having grown up around Chicago Italians I have to say they knocked it out of the park. I know people who actually knew Anthony Spilatro (Pesci's character) and they said he nailed that role.

Should have split up the godfathers. Make people choose between the three.

There were only two Godfather movies. Perhaps you're thinking of Godfather Saga, where the films were cut to be in chronological order.

Man, give us like 3 votes, man, so many great films here, man.

Also, A Bronx tale is a good film. No votes but deserves some cred.

Fuck outta here with that cracka ass racist poll
Watch this movie a couple times a year
Its dope as fuck

Don't look at me little puppet

Great movie. Lightly based on DeNiro's life too if I'm not mistaken.

I think it was Chazz Palminteri but you could be right. The part I remember most is the irony of "wasted talent" and the lead actor kid grew up to commit murder or was there and went to jail for 10 years.

I've never seen any of the Godfather movies, but I do like The Departed a lot. Movie is super dominant.

Casino is the gold standard for me

Goodfellas gets my vote
Another movie you guys may like isnt that great but def worth the watch with Ray Winstone and Jude Law that was ok as far as story but entertaining as hell, I would google it, to give the name, but im just not in the mood to be honest

I'm not really a fan of mob movies. The Godfather series was entertaining though.

I just watched the God Father Epic about a year ago. Prior to that I've never seen the Godfather Movies. I tried to watch the first Godfather Movie a few times, but I could never get into it. The Godfather Epic takes all three movies and makes it one big 7 hour movie.

What this version does is tell the story in chronological order. A lot of The Godfather part 2 is spent on the back story of the main character in the old country and as an American immigrant. The Godfather Epic chops up the movies to have it all flow in a proper timeline. All of the content is still there though.
