It's not the UFC frauding, it's men lying about their height. Happens in every sport, even in Basketball with tall guys that are like "no, I am not 6'4, I am 6'6".

As a fellow tall guy that wishes to be even taller, I can emphasize with it. It's just ego, nothing more really to it.

Not remotely true. Shaq has said that he's not even 7 foot and was listed at 7'2." Barkley claims to be 6'4" and was listed at 6'6." The commentators/analysts always say Durant is 7'0" and taller than his billed height, but Durant always claims he's much shorter. I could go on and on. It's definitely the companies that are propagating the billed heights and not the actual athletes.
