Ultimate James Bond 007 Thread

I agree with the ranking, but what did Fleming see Ogilvy in that made him think he'd be a good Bond?

No idea, to be honest. I just know that Fleming was not impressed by Broccoli giving the part to Connery until he actually saw Dr No; after that he was huge fan.

They need to stop making James Bond movies.

Just saying.

Skyfall was the first Bond film to join the Billion Dollar Movie Club, so there is no chance they stop making them any time soon. Deal with it:)

You must be mixing up Ogilvy with somebody else. Ogilvy was just a teenager when they started making Dr. No. How could Fleming have wanted a teenager to play Bond?

It's possible. It was some time ago, and I can't remember the source. I am sure that Connery wasn't Fleming's first choice, but he changed his mind after watching Dr No.

I’ll be rocking a James Bond style tux at my wedding next month. Pretty stoked

The actor is gay, Bond won't be gay;

I think you're a little confused how things work, here, let me help;

I'm saying Luke Evans should be Bond, but he won't be called Luke Evans James Bond, he'll still be James Bond.

I said Luke Evans is gay, not that JB will be gay.

Luke Evans is the right age to play Bond, moreso than the ginger pretty boy from TV.

DC (Daniel Craig, not Daniel Cormier silly) was same age as LE when he started Bond, and will have churned out 5 - an ample service.
Luke Evans is gay!?!

Reading this thread gave me the realization even though I've seen all the recent Craig Bond films I can't really remember anything about them.

Openly.

You got a problem with that mister?
I do.

But for real Daniel Craig is for sure 2nd best after connery but i cannot get over what a whiny bitch he was being about his distaste for the franchise due to the sexism and misogyny when in reality all he cared about was not wanting to be type cast and getting more money. Great Bond, annoying douche in real life.

I started ignoring them after Casino Royale, but I did watch Spectre and it was a bit shit. And I don't mind Craig as Bond

Casino Royal had a ton of memorable scenes...If you are a home

Considering that the scene where Craig is wearing that light blue speedo coming out of the ocean, is the most paused scene ever in the gay community, I find that hard to believe.
