Most people are probably more focused on keeping their jobs, paying their bills, paying for their school or their kids schools, ensuring there's enough food for everyone in their family, paying off debts, dealing with health issues, etc...

If the enviroment is fucked to tthe point its creates a shitty mad max style future theres no reason to be happy that we at least 'survived' what we caused

Iv read Theres new types of cowfeed thatl vastly reduce methane production trialing , its obvious the coal and oil and car industry will keep paying enough politicans and 'experts' to make sure their bottom line isnt affected so id say the realistic way to curb climate change with our crooked political system would be (sorry) tax payer funded investment in making that stuff widespread for livestock , a few bill well spent id say

When you can't pay your bills, watch your industry be phased out or are having trouble finding a job paying an honest living wage, hungry, homeless, etc.. the last thing you care about is whether you can go for a nice hike or whether some city on the coast suddenly develops a new coast line.
