Don't be blind to what he did. He may not have encouraged violence compared to politicians in movies you've seen, but in the real world what he did was very directly promote violence. He told his idiot followers that he wanted to see violence, that the protesters deserved violence and that he would protect them because it was the right thing to do. Think about that for a minute. Step into the real world and out of the fantasy world of evil, scheming politicians who somehow make Trump look good.

I mean I wouldn't have really cared if I were him, but stopping someone who came there to throw shit isn't quite the same as generally telling people to go attack detractors. So the only question is if whatever force was used was reasonable.
