This is the new Microsoft VR bundle with a 2560 X 1440 display only LCD not OLED and I believe 60 hz not 90 hz or above like the Sony headset at 120 hz. Of course it's also very likely it will be supported by the new improved XBox with the new CPU has not been officially announced yet.

No it does not include the laptop. :)

In other news Microsoft delayed the release of the Hololens 2.0 due to targeting it for more consumer based applications and price point with higher resolution display and improved FOV "Field Of View". They know that these are the common issues along with price on the unit.

Star VR is going to be well over 1,000 dollars. If you want to wait Pansonic is coming out with a VR headset that supports over a 140 degree field of view. The other huge benefit it's not much larger then the HTC Vive and Oculus in size and weight. It uses curved OLED displays and specialized and patented optic design. But will not be coming out till early 2018. It's also going to sell for around 700 dollars.

This Panasonic and Star news could be all but forgotten if these latest Magic Leap patent applications turn out true. There has already been technology shown that puts up amazing case for Magic Leap future. At least there is a constant rumor that Magic Leap will be showing a product in August or Sept. with early 2018 release.

Yeah I know Acer history but I have had an Acer monitor for nearly 15 years never had a problem with it. During that time I have had Dell kick the bucket, a generic, Sun monitor you are reading that right gave up but my 5 year old Samsung and my newer one are still running fine.

I've got a 8.9" Acer netbook from 2008ish that I still use, it's the only thing I have with an sd card reader. 65% of their stuff is crap. They do make some decent products, but I'd never walk into a store and buy one.

I know just making light of it. If you see my update on Rizen there is a photo of an Acer monitor. Gave you an mention. :)

Let's be honest here. The main reason why people want to buy this is to enhance their porn viewing experience.

I haven't owned a monitor in years, I use a big screen tv.
I check in on the Ryzen stuff every now and then, but I've lost interest. I'm excited to see what there APU's are going to be, but they don't come out until 2018.

lmao I have a friend who's in sales at Asus , I mentioned the name Acer he said dont say bad words hahaha
Pass a message on for me then. Tell him to slap whoever does the aesthetics of their boards, they're ugly as sin this generation.

to much tribal?? Haha
Every board doesn't have to have stripes and huge ass logo's plastered all over it. I've been an Asus user since Socket A but I couldn't find myself to use on in my main build because I couldn't find one that looked decent.
I'm using this board in my htpc. Why use a gold heat sink? Seriously. It looks dumb as hell, why didn't they use black, grey, or white.

It's that type of stuff that makes me want to slap someone as Asus.
