A strategy could be to put all energy to stop all Jones' take downs, but let him have the advantage on the feet. Take some damage there for a couple of rounds and reserve as much as energy as possible. Then when Jones has the feeling he owns him standing and don't even think he needs a take down and just winst the decision, change gears and put all energy in trying to knock him down in one round. Jones will reserve some energy for the later rounds so going all in for one around will give an advantage and Jones hopefully lost the idea of takedowns and didn't see it coming. If it didn't work he at least was competitive with Jones for one round.
