So... Uriah Hall happened again.

Did you even watch the fight?
The ref gave Uriah Hall every chance to recover, yet denied Jotko the same chance.

Uriah took a worse beating than Jotko in that fight.
I'm not for fighters taking unnecessary beatings, like you seem to assume.

Hall was still intelligently defending , Jotko wasn't.

Uriah just can't get any respect. Lots of fighters have fluke like "lucky" wins...Conor gets tons for his flukey lucky punch against Aldo but Hall doesn't get pushing Moose's shit in

Ps wasn't attacking any Conor fans or Jin. Just thought Conor was a good example.

He's hot and cold, and will not likely change.

He'll always have a puncher's chance. Should be cut though, and sent to Bellator prelims where he belongs.

HOT & COLD , maybe he needs a sports psychologist to convince himself he has skills........?

I noticed in the fight he was hesitant and getting cucked pretty much, then he flipped a switch in his mind and walked Jotko down and looked like mike Tyson in there lol. He thinks he is a counter striker but when he goes forward he is way scarier. Legit 30 seconds after he decdided to move forward he got the knockout

Yes he is inconsistent. You hear so many fighters say it's 90% mental, and i'm always skeptical of that, but there's something to it. Uriah doesn't have the right mentality to be an elite fighter.

I say he's on the level of one of the mid-tier guys he lost to; Rafeal Natal. Except he has fight ending power and explosion.

He'd be the perfect sponsor for Icy Hot. Damn Reebok to hell.

Nope he only got away with it because Jotko got tired from beating the piss out of him
Seriously 10/7 anyone?

But it's enough to bang on a highlight reel because half of the MMA fans don't watch fights just highlights and will go
Omg Hall got a ko win!

More like Jotko's fault than Uriah being Uriah....extending your right arm isn't a jab...it's inviting a counter punch...

He got tooled. You can have all the skills in the world but if you don't fight with an urgency like your life is on the line then you're not gonna go far.

He doesnt have "all the skills in the world", people need to stop saying that.

When you say "back" you assume he was ever a contender. He showed good heart but he's never going to be anything other than an enigmatic gatekeeper - someone who looks to have the tools but can't put it all together.

He is what he is at this point. If you're expecting him to randomly become elite I think that's silly tbh.

His grappling is terrible and doesn't seem to be improving, and he's easily hittable, he just moves with a swagger but really isn't that good imo.

I remember he was hailed as the black Anderson Silva, he's more in line with broken leg, viagra Silva.

I was fully expecting the fight to be stopped after the 6th or 7th uppercut. I think most fans would have accepted a stoppage there. I like Hall, he rarely has a boring performance. But, he often seems to be a bit hesitant to pull the trigger and he is far too easy to hit. If he can improve his defense and get a better ground game AND find some consistency he could have a run at the title. I was genuinely amazed that he was able to recover after the first round. Pretty much all his losses are to legit fighters. I think Jotko had a good game plan with the pressure and forcing him to the cage. If Hall can improve his lateral movement and stop going for high risk jumping and spinning shit against the cage he can still be a force at 185.
