Should white belts be allowed to create threads?

Too many pointless threads created by white belts on this site. Shouldn't they earn their stripes with reply-only before they start making threads?

Well, it's not hard to become a yellow belt. A troll on a mission could do it in less than an afternoon. That would just cause so much grief. A whitebelt would post in every thread just to get his postcount up.

Yes, they should. Not all white belts are idiots. Not all > white belts are intelligent. Personally I don't because if it's hot at the moment there are usually a couple threads on the first few pages about it anyways.

True, but it would still weed out the majority of white belts from making pointless threads.

Unfortunately trolls will find a way to make idiotic threads regardless. But lets at least put a system in place to weed them out.

Well the reason why I created this thread today, and I know it's been done before, is because in the last few days there have probably been the worst white belts threads I have seen since I've been on this site.

It's time there is a system put in place.
