Sherdog is absolutely rife with malware and phishing attacks. What gives?

It's not just on my phone anymore. Anytime I come to the site from my desktop, Norton is blocking shit immediately. Doesn't happen on other sites. Nope, it's Sherdog. Do the owners or admins of this site have anything to say regarding why it's ok to do that to their site's visitors?

There have been several topics made about this subject in the past year. I get attacked regularly on my phone and I try to not visit on desktop. I get less malicious activity on porn sites than I do on Sherdog.

I have never seen a staff member explain this shit. Or anybody even acknowledge these complaints as feedback. Certain staff members got time to push their corny videos but nobody can tell us why this site has turned into a cyber cesspool for many members? F that.

Couple of weeks ago it was so bad I was ready to quit, pages wouldn't load (well they were continually trying to refresh), froze my computer, downloaded a text file without prompt (that was happening years ago too), CPU running over 130%.

Now it's back to the normal shittiness, still can't browse the main site because that logs you out of the forums haha.

I downloaded a free app on my phone called "Opera VPN' and it works great for add blocking and diverting trackers. I obviously go to other sites on my phone, butt sherdog is my #1 visited site by far....my app says it's blocked over 800 pop-ups this week diverted 500+ trackers. I suggest getting this program guys.

Yeah it's always been a problem for me as well. It's the worst of any reasonable website that I've ever been on. I've always considered it a huge hassle and I wish there was some way to tell whoever is responsible to piss off.

You probably should be running an adblock add-on for your browser really, but it's still no excuse for the website.

I wish I could get rid of that damn quiz with an adblock program (and I'm running two of them).

The site has run a lot worse since the forum changeover and it's pretty obvious that traffic is a lot less since back then.

With Adblock Plus you can block individual elements on the site. Click the ABP button, then 'Block Element', and then click, or right click, on the offending element.

Sherdog ads force you to get ad blocker because of all the redirects and memory leaks. They make you go out of your way to install it.

i used to get those ads, im telling you one day my brand new htc 10 i bought stopped working while i was on this site, i never got it to work again that night i had a argument with kone and coolridge or whatever his name is.
