It was a few years ago, but when I was in Austin for a bit I made sure to go 30 minutes south to Lockhart and Luling for the BBQ. If you can make it there you won't be disappointed. Other than that I can recommend a good Walmart given some research time.
 
Forgot to name the places down there. Black's, Smitty's and Kruetz. Luling Market is the other one.

Hes a commercial fisherman and had a freak accident...went in right behind his right ear ..about 2 inches deep
