Sam Harris and Ezra Klein podcast (Race/IQ, ID politics, Political Correctness)

I have to agree with Zankou but I think the two of you are talking past each other. I think Zankou is talking about the layman's understanding and criticism of Murray's work and you are talking about scientists' or other experts' understanding and criticism of Murray's work.

You might think that the following statements could be made on a college campus and be generally accepted, but you'd be dead wrong:

"1) Intelligence, as measured by IQ tests, is a meaningful construct that describes differences in cognitive ability among humans; and

2) Racial groups differ in their mean scores on IQ tests."

Those facts are actually nearly impossible to discuss (at least in tandem) outside of closed academic or scientific circles. They might not be controversial statements to experts who know better but to the general public they are controversial in and of themselves.
Of course but consider:

1) The average white American of 1900 would have an IQ of 70 today.
2) The average African American in 2018 has an IQ of 85.

So I don't know how anyone can claim genetics is causing this shit.

LOL Harris still salty about getting embarrassed by Klein.
