Man, he had sickle cell and had to be taken to the hospital, Im wondering if he got pneumonia or something? that happens a lot when the immune system is compromised and people die from that.

One thing I know about hospitals is a lot of people get sick with the flu or colds in there while they are recovering from surgery or something else, its a hot bed of diseases since a lot of sick people are there the germs are bound to travel especially from nurse to nurse going from room to room
