She retired due to a long term incurable illness that was aggravated by training, I don't think she ever made public what exactly it was but she's probably retired for good.

Dang she was like the new age Hisae Watanabe,seems like most of Rena ko's come from body strikes hope they match her with Saori Ishioaka since she finally won again.
 
Saori actually has a ground game. If she can get a takedown, RENA would be in trouble.
 
I'll be honest..her nose is too large to be an idol in MMA

Asakura's nose is much better and she is much younger and stuff like that

I think considering RENA's age and stuff that that that RIZIN should not rely on her as a future star but should use her as a kind of first generation star to launch other stars with smaller noses and younger age

and RENA should then move into like a trainer and advisor role for RIZIN in raising new female stars from school age..it should be like pro wrestling

I just think that as a cheery blosssom RENA is ending her life pretty soon so it's pointless to protect her ..they should strike while the iron is hot and give her the most evil opponent possible especially one that will make it look like RENA is going to lose badly that will create a lot of DRAMA...

They need to give her someone that looks like a man and is bigger and stuff like that so that all the women who are watching can naturally cheer for RENA and get all dramatic and this will increase ratings and stuff like that

but McMann and Evinger are just pro fighters..we are not talking about fighting ability here
no one cares about those two in fact it's the first time i've heard of them

I want to feel the spirit of pretty young people fighting and RENA will soon not have that kind of spirit...

RENA is supposed to be an idol to us all you know...

I think RENA should be put into the hardest fights possible against the most evil and manly opponents possbile while she is still young and pretty and still has the ability to sway emotions in both men and women...
