Overeem made $850,000 against Ngannou?

I wouldn't take that punch from Francis for 100M let alone 800K...

what do you do for a living where you wouldn't get punched once for a generational fortune?

I would take that punch and eat it like a boss for half that money. You guys have to remember a weak ass front push kick from Travis Brown KOd Overeem, an off balance uppercut from Ngannou is overrated in power.

Not enough money, imho, taking into account the brain damage and one of the most brutal shoop threads on sherdog.

Makes sense. Nobody on a shitty 40k / 40k would risk the brain damage against Ngannou.
Ha, Ngannou made 45/45 for co main vs Overeem. That group of pride guys especially HWs got huge contracts to come over, especially when strikeforce shutdown. He so made huge money as well.

UFC 209 Alistair Overeem: $750,000

UFC 213 Alistair Overeem: $800,000

$850,000 sounds exactly right then

Or, at least someone made $850,000 to show at UFC 218. Could have theoretically been Holloway or Aldo, but Overeem seems like the most likely candidate.

Just google "UFC 218 fighter salaries"... you can do that for any event. The information for everyone on the whole card is always reported as per the commission's rules... so it's public knowedge & it's out there. I've found that the wording above is best to bring up the sources.

Reem's been big pimping for his whole UFC run. You can follow the events that he's been on & google the fight salaries for that event & I'm sure it would amaze how much he's made.

Here's one for your 218 event. Pretty impressive the amount of high drawing payroll so many people on this card got imo

Agreed I honestly couldn't, a millions a million but that's life ending power there.

Agreed. I might consider it if I were a heavyweight man but, as I am, that punch would definitely kill me. Or at the very least if it doesn't kill me I'd wind up using all that money to pay my medical bills.

I guess, last I checked Arlovski, JDS and Werdum aren't making CRAZY money. They're paid well. I guess for Reem and Hunt though they can base cards around them in Asutralia/New Zealand/Netherlands. I definitely think Hunt's overpaid relative to his skill level, even though he has a fan friendly style.
Lol none of them are overpaid. If they really are the best Heavyweights on the planet.

Reem damn near did a back flip

Pay the man

Almost looked like a dolphin flying through the air at the aquarium when he caught that uppercut
