Apparently our German brothers and sisters are leading the way to a better future. They're actually pushing back in big numbers against the rising tide of fascism in our world. We all need to take notes. Having a bunch of far right, authoritarian governments all over the world during the next financial crisis would be a disaster.

More than 100,000 people have been marching in the German capital Berlin to protest against xenophobia and the increasing influence of the far right.

Rights groups organised the rally, as marchers held placards reading "Indivisible" and "United against racism".

The BBC's Jenny Hill in Berlin says even the organisers seemed surprised by the turnout.

Support for the anti-immigration AfD party has risen in recent years.

The Alternative for Germany entered parliament for the first time last year, becoming the biggest opposition party, and is expected to make a strong showing in elections in the southern state of Bavaria on Sunday.

Just because you call something "fascism", that doesn't mean it is.
"The rising tide of Fascism" refers to the growth of rightwing authoritarianism globally. It is the end goal/product of the current stream of thinking on the right.

Nice that a bunch of refugees took a break from all the rapin' to do some marching and chanting instead.

Well if they want to stop the far right they're in luck. Its super easy. All they have to do is cease their fucked up dysfunctional agenda to destroy their own nations and they'll disappear.

The far right is absolutely a product of the radical left.

Yes you can condition a population to accept progressive liberalism. Those are the brainwashed masses. Not too long ago they were conditioned to go along with the Nazi's plans.

The far right is a product of idiocy, and reductive thinking. There aren't enough actual left leaning governments in meaningful countries for it to be a reaction to actual leftwing power. It's all tilting at windmills. You're being used by the global oligarchy, and don't even know it. It's pathetic.

All your posts could be made by a bot.

"Progress!?! Cringe!!!"

The push back is a product of insane liberalism.

Frankly, I can't wait to see reactionary rightwing ideology smashed on the rocks of progress.

It'll be glorious.

Posting in a troll rat thread.

No, your definition of fascism is incorrect.

Also, wanting legal immigration is not racism.

Also, foky, kindly.

Fascist creep, the rising tide of fascism. It's all the same thing. The end goal is absolute power in the hands of the few. It's the antithesis of Democracy, and freedom.

So the Germans are marching.
Has anyone given Poland the heads up?
