Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya was arrested for DUI in Pasadena, CA Tuesday night ... TMZ Sports has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us the 43-year-old was pulled over for speeding in a Land Rover around 2 AM and during the stop, officers suspected he was drunk.

Earlier in the evening, Oscar was seen at multiple bars in the area, including Barney's Beanery in Old Town Pasadena where he posed for a pic with a fan.

Sad to see but not surprising seeing the Oscar tmz video posted awhile back he was 100% wasted.

Hope he gets the help he needs. 2017 suppose to be a big year for Golden Boy.

Why didn't he uber ?
Sucks to see him this way but glad no one got hurt

Oscar would appear to be going off the rails again. Never liked him, but it's still a shame to see.

No coke? No hookers? No fishnets? This isn't the Oscar I'm used to.

Lulz, Ol' Oscar got arrested down the street from me. Hilarious

Not sure what his demons are, but he hasn't had the kind of happy life that you would expect from a guy who had his money, looks, fame and popularity,

Oscar likes rocking the black on black gear to the clubs...lol

But seriously, fucking Uber, Lyft, your local Cabbie, Limo Sevice... Come on dude has a net worth of over $200 mil. Make the calls when you're sober at the start of the night and leave in a limo and get home in a limo. If he was just running out to the store to grab more booze I'd understand better..LOL

people do some stupid shit, i'll never understand that kind of addiction, i really won't. I don't drink and don't touch drugs. All that money and he doesn't have the presence of mind to hire a driver, even a permanent driver would be nothing for his pocketbook. Sometimes, in my opinion, money just gives you too much time to dwell on shit. I really don't feel sorry for him though. I always say, (last time was concerning George Michael) "i don't feel bad for him I feel bad for the guy who's had to work in a dirty steel mill for forty years".

Where's his support ppl helping put him in check.

that was the question I asked when i first saw this. It's hard to tell, if a person is stubborn, the best help in the world, the best advice won't change a damned thing. Sugar Ray Leonard was once caught in a pic with some escorts and he actually blamed a guy who he hired to make sure he didn't embarrass himself when he was drunk. Then you have a guy like Bill Cosby who, I think, all he had to do is disappear for awhile and although his career might have been finished, the furor might have died down. But no, there he was being defiant and even now, he's been through a couple lawyers and I would have to believe it's because he won't fucking listen to them. How do you tell a guy who's been entitled and rich his whole life that it's over? His last lawyer was trying to get him to act blind, in a ploy for sympathy, but Bill eventually goes back to saying he wants to get it over so he can go back to tv. The dude ain't getting it.

True, the steelworker has an excuse to go get sauced up...lol.
For guys like Oscar, I'd say it's too much time on his hands and not enough excitement. No more training, no regimen, no stress from being away from family, no bitches to juggle, no limelight like your primelight, bored as hell, might as well get drunk and party, fuck a driver I'm going out low-key tonight.

Yup, can't tell them shit. They're grown and dont need babysitters, they just need to plan better BEFOREHAND. Say "yo im getting hammered tonight, I don't care if TMZ catches me blitzed Im still the boss of my company and make millions aint nobody firing or fining me, just make sure i get home safe and dont have to drive."
But yeah like you said people do stupid shit, and especially when theyre on some shit.

I am really not bothered at all by someone drinking and driving.
I personally enjoy it.
3am, windows rolled down, eyes closed, cruisin down the street while Hall and Oates plays in the background.

It might be because he would rather still be fighting, and he cant get that high anymore. This is a man who did fight everyone there was to fight after all.

could be that, i'm not big on making excuses for people. Lots of people get a lot worse breaks in life and they go on. But I do think that some of the things fighters do, risky things like ride motorcycles recklessly and drive crazy, are trying to catch the old high. If you were to check i'd bet the rate of fighters who die in accidents is higher than average. Then, many athletes deal with a major funk when the attention dissappears. Again, there are worse fates so I just think it's stupid.
