You think so? I watched Backdraft a few years ago. I thought it was pretty good, but not really a GREAT movie.
Yeah my comment was 'tongue in cheek'. Haven't seen Backdraft since it came out. I remember Donald Sutherland being dope though.

I mean, I did think it was entertaining. But not much more than that.

This flick wasn't doing it for me, anyway.

Not to poo poo on these real life events, but it seems like these kinds of movies have been coming out a lot lately.
 
Saw it a few days ago.

Overall I thought it was good. It does get a bit repetitive in the way that the story bounces back and forth between showing home life and firefighting but it's cool to get a glimpse into how these guys do what they do.

The cast does a good job and the story wraps up well.

All in all, 7.5/10.
