I think the wrestler part of it is a misconception. Nates so big and long that he'll probably be very successful from the bottom against Eddie. Eddie might even have a hard time getting Nate to the ground. The wreslter has to also be a high level BJJ practionioner. I agree with the leg kicks. You gotta be a southpaw Leg kicker.

I could definitely see Nate finding a way to win over 5 rounds, he would have a massive height and reach advantage too. Over 3 rounds I'd be more inclined to agree with you.

Gaethje doesn't have the best gas tank and Nate can take a lot of punishment, could see him beating Gaethje, maybe even TKO'ing or submitting him in later rounds. His leg would definitely take a beating either way though I agree.

He is on a 1 fight win streak in the division and beat the divisions champ once (i get it at a different weight) and 3 fights removed from a title shot to RDA. Hard to say he at the least hasnt been competitive. On top of that, what new contenders are there that are beating top 10 guys that could take his place? I know a lot of people try to hate on nick and nate for the things they say but your a retard if you think they arent good fighters. One dimensional maybe, but that one dimension has won them a lot of fights against top 10 opponents.

Considering he hasn’t fought at LW in over two years I think he is ranked too high. Even before he fought Conor he should have never been ranked as high as we was.

Forgot about 5 rounder. Alvarez still beats him imo. Nate most likely beats Gaethje in the late rounds.
