Naoya Inoue inching closer to P4P #1

I want to see Inoue fight Jerwin Ancajas, Inoue's power against Jerwin's specialist body punching would be an absolute banger of a fight.
I'm hoping the Ancajas/SSR matchup is next

nery is the worst example of an all around cheater
he doesn't deserve a title shot

Oh, forgot about Nery. Seeing him get slept like Inoue's last opponent would be a satisfying sight.

Damn didn't know which one was him coming into the video and immediately started watching him in the red/white with that movement and distance management, and damn that 1-2 was setup perfect with the feints until then and went in for the kill

he dont move his head, nomaschenko would destroy him

Course he would he's several weight divisions above him. Not to mention the way he handled Rigondeaux. Poor rig couldn't land a glove on him.

a BW losing to a LW? You don't say...
Not sure what dudes probably with Inoue is. You state the obvious, but were they the same weight and Loma was bantam, I'd take Inoue to win head movement or not. He'd be a nightmare for Loma if they were the same size.

I don't think he would be a nightmare. He hits really hard, fucking hard probably the hardest p4p in boxing today BUT he has to land those shots on Lomachenko. That's not easy feat. Going into the Rigondeaux fight people were claiming that Rig was going to decapitate him with his power. Loads of people claiming he'd carry his power up with him. What happened? He couldn't even land a glove on Loma that was despite Rigo having a 2 1/2" reach advantage. Inuoe is a great boxer, elite in fact but he does nothing that is out of the ordinary. He's just an excellent technical boxer. Problem is Lomachenko eats those sorts of fighters for breakfast. He'd figure Inuoe out no problem at all. I can't see Inuoe landing on Loma. Loma would box him to pieces.

If all things stayed the same except Loma was a BW version of himself, Inoue's body shots and insane power, and style (he doesn't provide his opponent's a sense of timing, he springs totally untelegraphed) would probably have Loma in trouble of being TKOd or stopped while Loma was still in the process of collecting "data" on Inoue. If nothing else, Inoue's body work would slow Loma down immensely and make his head a lot more available.

We are not going to agree. Inuoe fights in a very typical orthodox style. Loma would be able to read him easily and Loma is too fast for him. But I do agree that Inoue's body work is excellent. Only problem is we have seen Loma take 105 low blows to the body and that still didn't stop him. I don't think it would slow Loma down much. Lomachenko would figure him out too easily.

I appreciate disagreements, it's what makes this forum fun. Yeah, we're gonna see this different. I'm not saying Loma can't win, but imo Inoue would be a rough fight if it were even an achievable fight without being a size mismatch.

well i think it would be a great fight, and the guy suggesting loma beats inoue now when they're 4 weight classes apart is a noob who probably only knows lomachenko and canelo, and is now trying to talk shit.

but inoue is going to blast everyone in this tournament. he is the future.

Yeah I agree, life would be boring if we all agreed with each other, especially on a forum. I do agree that Inuoe would be a very tough fight for Loma. The power that he carries, his ability to land it and his amazing bodywork would all be factors in his favour. It is a bit of shame that they are so far away in weight classes.

Yeah he is going to destroy all in this tournament. I don't see anyone giving him much trouble at all. Hopefully, it will raise his profile to where he deserves to be.

yup, the real challenge for Inoue is Nery. I think Rodriguez is his toughest fight in the tourney tbh. I thought it was gonna be Tete but he just keeps looking flat. Burnett is talented, but like, nothing exceptional.

unfortuantely I give Nery a shot. He IS a very good fighter, even if he's a dirty cheat.

yea, but my point is
who would want to fight a guy, who has a history of comin in 2 wgt classes over
