I think it’s kind of weird how people always want to compare cars to guns and how much more lethal they are. But one big difference you’re not Acknowledging is that guns are designed to kill. Cars are designed for a multitude of uses.
And one thing people who say I don't acknowledge that don't acknowledge is that killing is a legitimate purpose. They also don't acknowledge the sporting aspects (eg. shooting is in the Olympics) or that self-defense most often occurs without a life being taken.
Finding a difference hardly renders the comparison moot. We're talking about mechanical tools that when misused have lethal consequences. And oddly enough, the one not designed to kill does more damage annually.
