MM less popular due to sex appeal factor?

I've noticed that the UFC likes to promote single fighters with high sex appeal such as Sage and Brock Lesnar.

With Lesnar he's single so I can imagine myself in a romantic relationship with him, perhaps stargazing or even trying (in vain) to triangle choke him as he manhandles my hot, nubile body. On the other hand MM is married so out of the question.

Do you think this is a factor for why MM is unpopular?

What the hell is this? The UFC is still trying to be taken seriously as a sports org, so they'd probably rather their most prominent guys actually look like athletes rather than guys in their late 30s with a dad bod in their underpants.
