MLB Season Thread: Diablos Rojos Super Team

Goatani just crushed a ball right now. Monster shot.

Atlanta's lumber is lethal.

Read a long article saying Elly De La Cruz is on pace for 35 HR and 100 SB. Also cited his outstanding work ethic and desire to be great.

30-30 for Elly is almost for sure. I think Shohei might also try for 30-30. He went at least 20-20 previously.

Yeah four steals tonight... 30 on the year now.
These douchebags "investment experts" on a baseball card podcast said they were done with Elly several months ago and he wouldn't amount to much. I suspect the difference with other tools guys is the work ethic and drive and motivation to be great and work on the deficiencies. Hard to think of other players where once he gets on first base, there's a decent chance he will steal bases then score. Every team needs a guy like that with big game on the line.

Another former cangels player caught in the gambling ring. Sharte might as well be the Hispanic/latinx/lateen Donald Trump with his ability to oversee all kinds of illegal bs and not be held accountable at all. Also Ohcani is the Asian goatnald with his ability to dodge prosecution IMO.

Goatani is making a run at that MVP 3 peat , would be the 4th player to win an MVP with multiple Franchises joining Bryce Harper , Arod and Barry Bonds and would be the 1st to do it in the American and National League .

The Mets are having an awful start to their season.

I'm a Mets fan and I didn't expect the season to be great as are rotation is shit minus the Asian dude who is hurt. With that said what is killing me is the lineup nobody even close to hitting 300 and it's just shit.

How about Skenes' 2nd MLB start with 6 no hit innings?

I think the TV showed Imanaga and one of his pitches just sank at the last second as it approached the plate.

Maybe a few years ago, one of the MLB vets on MLB Network said Tarik Skubal was gonna be good and the other day he was like 6-0 with low ERA.

A while back an article in Apple News suggested that if Dodgers wanted Shohei to quit pitching, he'd do it since he doesn't have the same passion for pitching as for hitting. The whole reason he originally stayed in Japan with the first team was they'd let him do both.

Saw another article where maybe former big leaguer suggested Shohei should be closer and hitter.

Forgot how mind numbingly boring biesbol can be. No offense to you hardliners.

Or maybe my expectations are just unrealistic after some epic hockey yoffs.

Once the Finals are over, we enter that dead zone until football begins.
