Why the fuck wouldn't they give Chidi the shot or at least put him against a guy like Gonzalez or Koreshkov? Guy is one of the few dudes with high momentum at WW in Bellator right now, and he beat a really bright prospect in his last fight. Surely he should be fighting in a number 1 contender's match or something, not at a CW bout against a guy who has been inconsistent as fuck in the last few years.

Agree, IMO the fight to make was Chidi vs Koreshkov for the number one contender, i don't think that Bellator is going to give Rory a immediate title shot....

This is not good. Melvin has an important fight next month in Korea to get into the Road FC $1million lightweight tournament. If he gets hurt, or can't make weight for that fight, he's fucked.

But anyway Chidi is a monster and probably a legit WW threat to the belt at this point so he should steam past Melvin. Bellator has gotta pull the trigger on some of their top fighters. Let's start seeing these guys fight!!
