This is an intelligent man. We need more like him in this sea of dumbasses called Sherdog.
You are clueless and delusional.
Actual real fights with people who have no clue about fighting
What do you mean?
Saying a violent punching contest like boxing "isn't a fight" is a naive thing to say.
So I guess WMMA is the closest thing we have to real fighting.
It's not MMA you know that right? Just in case you're new to boxing there is no grappling in boxing and because of that there is no need to defend take downs.
Obviously...that's why boxing is light years away from fighting
Good point. Another thing is that MMA fighters are usually overconfident in their hands, when in reality they are not even club fighters. In a "real fight", the MMA fighter would actually try to trade punches with the boxer and end up being KTFO.
Try it and get back to me.
But they are REAL fights! MMA is not close to a real fight. Its a sport. Only insecure MMA "fans" think MMA is a real fight or give a shit about what would happen in the streets
Point is, there is no need for Floyd to even defend Conor taking his back (is Conor retarded? he knew it was not allowed) so thats not even any indication on if Floyd could or couldn't stop it
Those are real, low-level fights...MMA is the closest to real, high-level fights
By that logic a pillow fight is a real fight
Boxing = fighting
Period. End of story
You're just butt hurt that buddy doesn't have any real power.
A non fighter just punched the shit out of a "fighter" and would have put him out were it not for the help of a referee.
Same could be said about a sanctioned pillow fight
