Almost every street fight involves two guys standing and trading shots, like a boxing match between novice scrubs basically. So boxing more closely resembles a real fight than MMA. You don't see two people square off in the street, then start rolling around in speedos dry humping each other.

Real fights involve guns, knives, and stamping on someone's head until they're dead. MMA is an officiated sport with as many rules as boxing. You can't even grab the cage or headbutt ffs. It is in no way a real fight.

Good point. Another thing is that MMA fighters are usually overconfident in their hands, when in reality they are not even club fighters. In a "real fight", the MMA fighter would actually try to trade punches with the boxer and end up being KTFO.
