I'm still convinced that using the Twitter protection tool for offensive pictures would have been enough to keep her out of trouble. It was obviously not Le Pen's intent to do that, but is it quite clear that atrocities are the most important part of ISIS's propaganda. They willingly rehearse, stage and film all their worst deeds. The extreme violence becomes both addicting and numbing to the people they want to attract, and it also plays into their idea that the apocalypse is coming soon.

They mostly recruit illiterate dumbfucks, but the whole process goes surprisingly deep in terms of brainwashing. ISIS doesn't locate and prey on people, they throw their propaganda around and wait for guys to look for them. In the West, lots of the people that joined them took the initiative to find the recruiters, not the other way around. Violent propaganda is crucial to this part.

Actually, propaganda has kind of become a bastardized term, much like the term terrorism.

Most people associate propaganda with outright lies; that's not the case. Heck, if I recall correctly, historically some nations actually have Propaganda Minister position, and it didn't have negative connotations.

I think it says a lot that people see such a thing and get turned on enough to join the cause. lol. That is something we should be worried about not this French woman.
