They have a few good prospects in the pipeline. Jordan Johnson, Tyson Pedro, Magomed Ankalaev.

There was 3 or 4 amazing LHWs in the UFC:
Jones: Busted for steroids.
DC: Going to HW. Never coming back.
Rumble: Retired and probably back as HW
Gus: Inactive as fuck.

Bader lost to Rumble (retired) and Glover (who has regressed a lot).
Davis lost to Rumble (retired) and Bader (Bellator).

Both guys would be instant contenders in 2018 UFC LHW division.

I don't think Pedro and Johnson could become contenders.
Ankalaev, Edilov and Reyes have potentials.

I don't think he'll necessarily retire immediately - especially if he wins, he'll probably try a few defenses.

But, win or lose, he should wrap up his career at HW. There's no challenges left at LHW.
