LOL at LHW division

DC is probably retiring after Stipe. Lets be real guys.

So you have:

Gus: Legit guy but has loses to JBJ, DC and Rumble
Glover: 38 and shot
Volkan No time on the mat Oezdemir: Exposed
Jimi glasschin Manuwa: Almost 38 years old
OSP: Gatekeeper
Shogun: Shot
Misha: Most overrated prospect ever
Corey Anderson: Bum
Latifi: Nice guy but not that good
Cummins: Is he really ranked #10? Fuck

Damn... that division sucks ass. Bellator at least they have Mo, Davis and Bader who are pretty legit.

LHW is in deep trouble.

Gokhan Saki is the last Hope for LHW.

Chuck Liddell is the future of LHW!

With 205 being as weak as it is, perhaps Jones won't feel the need to roid out and stick around for awhile when he returns.

I think they should scrap the division, but they should scrap a lot of divisions. Makes no sense to have such a concentration of talent like they do, make the classes more similar to boxing, concentrate the more competitive divisions, draw out the heavier divisions. 175, 200, and HW would work a lot better when you think about the fighters we have.

Luke, Jacare, Yoel, Weidman, etc. are all going to 200 and fighting with the likes of Teixera and maybe Gus? If not Gus and bigger LHWs that struggle go up to HW. 175 is fill with smaller MWs like Whittaker, Silva, etc. and bigger WWs like Maia, Till, GSP, etc. 170 is still stacked because it's 170.

There's so much they can do to make divisions more interesting, and they just refuse to do them because their fascination with weight classes ending in 5's, and what they already are.

205 used to be the division to watch. Now if Jones doesn't comeback... it is screwed. Hoping DC will fight GUS at the end of the year.

Jones obliterated the division worse than he obliterated his car.

There was 3 or 4 amazing LHWs in the UFC:
Jones: Busted for steroids.
DC: Going to HW. Never coming back.
Rumble: Retired and probably back as HW
Gus: Inactive as fuck.

Bader lost to Rumble (retired) and Glover (who has regressed a lot).
Davis lost to Rumble (retired) and Bader (Bellator).

Both guys would be instant contenders in 2018 UFC LHW division.
Davis is also 0-2 against Bader. Can’t really recover from that.

So because Oezdemir was on the wrong end of a dominant position from one of the best grapplers in the sport and one of the best p4p guys in the sport, now he’s “exposed” and “no time on the mat” ? Lol unbelievable

OSP vs Latifi coming up in a month. Latifi has shown major improvement in his last fight, very economical and dominant against Tyson Pedro, I feel that his Bader knockout loss was a fluke. Maybe he is going to climb up the ranks who knows, but I also like OSP and thats going to be a hell of a fight. Personally, despite the divison being weak, the fights are still super fun to watch, heavyweight knockout power with more stamina and speed. :)

Light heavyweight is bad right now. In desperate need of new blood
