Khabib hitting mitts looking sharp as a razor

Yeah might as well never hit pads, you know bc they don't hit back... idiot
someone who obviousky got into martial arts five minutes ago, absolutely no idea what what I was referring to hahaha

Mitts is more of a choreographed dance and drill than fight... idiot.

As if you have some secret ancient wisdom that every boxer, kickboxer and MMA fighter and their coaches doesn't know about.

"Pads don't hit back" ooooooh wow, thanks for the insight, you're a real fuckin modern day Bruce Lee pal. You have just proved bag work and pad work to be completwly useless with that one sentence. Thanks for opening all of our eyes. Retard lmfao.

What you are doing is the equivalent of using a Call of Duty quote to give advice to a group of soldiers about to head into real warfare.

Khabib has speed and power, but he lacks
techique, distance and timing.
He will struggle with Tony's reach and unpredictibility.

There was multiple threads that day saying how Khabib had gotten to Tony and that Tony looked nervous, which just shows its a matter of perspective.

People overrate all the so-called mind games. They are pro athletes who have spent their lives in training centres and locker rooms full of men talking shit their entire lives. People on Sherdog act like its the first time some of these fighters have ever encountered the phenomenon of "trash talk."

98% of it is just drama for casuals to eat up.
lol, locker room trash talk, the thing what you say when millions people watching you and just going to fight some professional athletes, when money and everything related is on card, yeah probably drama, but it works for people who watch and probably affect some fighters..
the thing that how some fighters take it lightheartly under this pressure is just beautifull to see, this is the main argument here

well in this case they literally do since he's drilling defense as well
Knowing patterns, on a pair of Mitts with the coach you train with daily, data fighting, if only MJ wore Mitts.

There was a thread pointing out all the flaws in that pad session.

That is a really good striking IF its past the 4th round and you have youre opponent covering up against the fence.

Hitting mitts works to train and internalize basic motor coordination, rhythm, movement, distance, and reflexes. It is essential, and most athletes who are not by nature very uncoordinated can learn to do so with not much difficulty.

Being able to adapt these basic coordination and motor skills to the movement of different fighters in an actual fight is a totally different matter. That requires years and years of sparring, adaptability and talent.

Khabib looks functional and packing a solid punch, if a bit slow and stiff in there. Very little lateral movement, and his changing of levels is limited, while moving forward in mid-close range, as he usually does.

A long reach fighter backing out and looking for the counter can give him trouble if they can resist the pressure and avoid the clinch.

Whos he trying to fool? He wouldn't box if you paid him extra

looking slow and stiff, hope he's ready to get smoked by Ferg or Conor.
