So does this mean Bas is slightly overrated?
Ken never fought Bas in actual MMA. Pancrase simply does not count. Moon boots and no punching to the head makes it stupid
Majority of his losses came after his wrestling stint which basically ruined his knees and back. Basically fought Tito on one good legBas lost to Ken very early in his career. So Bas wasn't at his best yet. Plus, many of Ken's losses came at the end of his career, when he was way over the hill.
So it's not an accurate representation of either fighters skills when they were at their best. Ken at his best was way better than what his 17 losses suggest.
Completely agree. Especially if you watch his pancrase matches. He was very fast and agile for a guy his size.He may have that many losses, but he was an absolute beast back in his hayday.
Ken Shamrock was the Dennis Hallman to Bas Rutten's Matt Hughes.
Great minds/mma dorks think alike man.Damn you beat me to it.
