Jon Jones and Anderson Silva

Anderson might be better off boxing at this point. That is the only way I see him possibly getting around a suspension, and even that is a long shot.

Jones- what competition could he possibly find in japan?

He already demolished Brandon Vera who was a HW champ over there last I heard

ufc makes money from their biggest draws. they are guaranteed to lose 2 top draws who are under contract. why would they put salt in their own wounds and release them so other organizations get part of the ufc audience?

GSP came back and won a belt from a can. Dont get it twisted, a can that was KOd in seconds by someone not in the title picture. Anyway, what does the UFC gain by having him under contract for 4 years and doing nothing? What does that gain either party?
A can that beat the guy in your AV. Stay salty.

The UFC brought in USADA to punish those that break the rules, If they let those that get caught by USADA out of their contract and pretty much escape punishment then what is the point of having USADA

Both are innocent BTW

There is no fucking way the commissions in the US would let him fight under them again if he just ducks their ban in other countries.

The UFC wouldn't be too happy either.

Why not? Its a US thing? UFC is all over the world. Bones would never have to fight in the US again. Canada, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, UAE, etc..

It was a big fucking mistake and is now a problem for the UFC. The amount of pull outs due to injury, weight cuts, and out of competition recreational drug use is just flabbergasting since USADA...that and the TRT issue. You cant buy tickets more than a few hours in advance for a live event unless you want screwed, and with the firesticks and android devices, live gates are going to be a major part of revenue going forward....along w the drop off in ppv sales in general...

It is yes, and they legally could not stop Jon..

The problem is, they see him fighting overseas and can basically decide to suspend the sentence until he stops fighting. Meaning he could never fight in the US or possibly even Canada again.

Its entirely up to the punishing commission which in this case is Nevada who are sometimes light on punishment or intensely harsh.

So once a sentence is handed down, they can stop the sentence and put it on hold? Is that in the rules or policy? or do they make shit up as they go?

So is Bones not a big draw in other countries? Id say fuck it and schedule his ass...

For Bones - Go to a promotion and wreck hell over the divisions he competes in for 4 years, and once the suspension is up, he will come back to the UFC a bigger star and a pretty hefty PPV draw. .

his suspension gets put on hold the minute he leaves the testing pool, and clock only starts ticking again when he returns.

so no.
