Jon Jones and Anderson Silva

his suspension gets put on hold the minute he leaves the testing pool, and clock only starts ticking again when he returns.

so no.

what if he never left the testing pool and was just clean for the 4 years?

It was a big fucking mistake and is now a problem for the UFC. The amount of pull outs due to injury, weight cuts, and out of competition recreational drug use is just flabbergasting since USADA...that and the TRT issue. You cant buy tickets more than a few hours in advance for a live event unless you want screwed, and with the firesticks and android devices, live gates are going to be a major part of revenue going forward....along w the drop off in ppv sales in general...

USADA program technically didnt effect weight cuts at all.

in the 8 months following the introduction of the usada program and the iv ban there were actually less weight misses than in the previous 8 months.

all the weight misses came after the move to early weigh-ins

theres also a LOT of instances where teh ufc has told the fighter to stop cutting after monitoring them.

if he was in teh usada testing pool, that means hes still under UFC contract, so he wouldnt be able to fight in Japan.

the minute his contract ends, he leaves the testing pool

but there are drugs that assist in cutting that are illegal. just an addition to the issue, not the only issue.

The UFC cant have an event in japan?

2 former goats...Anderson is done, the man is old. Jones will fuck up again and again ...Imo there is no way wme will let them go to fight to another promotion, though. Specially Jones.

UFC has a record of not letting people out of contracts for petty reasons. See Wanderlei
Wanderlei, Randy, Mir...the list is surprisingly big on that.
unless you are not a draw, then they fire you even if you win your fights or is at the top of the rankings...

of course there are. yes,.

but statistically, USADA had no impact at all on fighters missing weigh, in fact, instances of weight missing went down.

the impact on weight missing has come from early weigh ins and from the UFC being stricter and forcing fighters to stop cutting.

The UFC wouldnt be able to have Jones fight on a card in Japan while under USADA suspension.. no.. that would be stupid and make the anti doping program utterly pointless.

Greater fighters with African heritage will come to take their place.

We know our history in sports.

I dont know if this has been discussed in depth (because im not a message board fiend like most of you and live and breathe on this mother fucker), or if we are waiting the results of these guys sanctions, BUT...if they both get 4 year anal jobs from USADA what would be wrong with the UFC letting these guy out of contract?

For Anderson - if the UFC doesnt let him out - CAREER OVER. Retire now.

For Bones - Go to a promotion and wreck hell over the divisions he competes in for 4 years, and once the suspension is up, he will come back to the UFC a bigger star and a pretty hefty PPV draw. The UFC for 7 years didnt have the best in the world in Fedor, so it isnt like this would be breaking new ground..

I dont know..
Ya you don't know.

Both are juicehead turkeys.

Bisping's not doing a needle thing, he's actually showing what GSP and Gastelum did to him.
