    According to this video clip:

Dana White says GSP had a contract to defend the title against Robert Whittaker if he beat Bisping. (At 1:05 of the video.)

    Well GSP vacated the title...

So is GSP in breach of his contract?

Does he have to pay a fine or something for not fighting Whittaker?

there was probably also a Clause that pertained to being fit to make such fight , which GSP is most likely unable to do .

UFC contracts are a joke apparently, can’t force the man to fight.

He wouldn't be forced to fulfill the contract because he would just say fuck you and retire. The UFC wants Georges to fight, at any weight, because he makes money for the company. GSP can renegotiate his contract, which is common in all sports.

GSP can propose a fight that is bigger than GSP v. Whittaker and Dana will allow it. Dana would do GSP v. Connor in a heartbeat, probably the biggest fight they can do right now..

Or GSP can retire and do gymnastics 100%.

He doesn't have to use illness as an excuse. He can vacate and renegotiate his contract. This happens in all sports, its a common thing. I notice a lot of MMA fans probably don't follow other sports because the idea of renegotiation is foreign to them.

You can't force someone to fight, you can only forbid him to fight for someone else. Considering GSP is injured and isn't fighting, the UFC can't do shit about it.

How could you force someone to fight? The only thing the UFC can do from a standpoint of law is they can prevent a fighter from fighting in another org until they have fulfilled their UFC contract.

I can't believe that Dana would not listen if GSP wants to fight Woodley this summer.

It's a good fight, a logical fight, it'll make money...
