I think fighters sometimes struggle with other fighters because the others fighters are trying to fight them.

My thoughts, Ngannou is a monster, he hits HARD. But all HW's do. Francis is like a 1000 Horsepower car. Just because a car has 1000 horsepower doesnt mean it can beat any car under 1000HP.

Ive seen cars with 500HP smoke cars with 800HP. My point is....Most HW's have enough power to knock anyone out with one punch. Ngannou just has lots of extra horsepower that really isnt going to make any difference. Sure it may be more of a "sure thing" if he hits you but he still has to hit you. Stipe has beaten far better decorated fighters than Francis has. He also shows he has KO power along with a good ground game. We saw a careless Overeem in that cage get KTFO. Stipe is a smart HW which is why he wins often against the top guys.

If you're all power, you lose at the elite level like Carwin

Ngannou also has the second longest reach in the UFC (83") and is the fastest fighter in the division. That makes it a lot harder to win via technique against him.
 
And if he doesn’t KO Stipe early, he’s likely gonna get beat by a more well rounded champion.

I wont bet on this fight. Thats how unsure I am with an outcome. Its a rare situation where this fight will answer lots of questions about Ngannou and it happens to be a title fight.
