I Got a Heel Stress Fracture

Going to miss a month of work. Coming down from my roof my ladder fractured a board in my deck and began to tip so I jumped. End result was a sprained ankle and a heel stress fracture. Doesn't hurt very much tbh but man, the DR says I'll be immobile for quite some time. Any tips or advice on recovery?

Ice it and elevate it. Allow it to heal properly then rehab it. Or you will lose mobility for the rest of your life.

It might be broken, but if your Doc diagnosed it as a stress fracture, his credibility is in question.

The MRI was able to conclude lose cartilage. I hope that it isn't broke.
