HyperLinks in sig not working

I used to be able to just put a weblink in my sig & it worked at the press of a button.

Could also create a hyperlink in a thread & copy it to my sig... & it would work.

Now all of a sudden I can't get my sig links to work.

Edit update 03/16/17: Hyperlinks are now working... but I was not able to do it. Lethal did it for me. with the first 2. Then a couple days ago I went to edit in the 3rd hyperlink currently in my sig... & it nixxed all my hyperlinks. Once again Lethal fixed them for me. He said that it looked like the formatting was missing... but as I understand it... that's not something I can do for myself... so there is still work to be done on the software. I would think that a user should be able to create these links themselves without extra help.

I am in the same boat. I tried to add a link to my sig and it erased all of my links which are vital to my existence here at SD. I am so freaked out now.

Yeh, someone turned off links, font sizes, everything else for regular people up to and including mods a few weeks ago

Then I copy/pasted it from here into my sig but the hyperlink didn't work. I also re-pasted the web address in there & that didn't work either.

Interestingly, when I click "preview" in the "edit signature" area... the links DO work. lol... (even the hyperlink I created) they just don't transfer to the forum. Even the one for the Learn to shoop thread worked there & I didn't re-copy it or anything

god forbid if someone clicked on my signature and it linked to a porn site, or a virus removal site or the like...

Fixed your sig, should be linked now. Not sure why some members are having problems with it.

Hi dim. I have been in contact with @Tachy about this. At one point he seemed to have thought that he fixed it, but I haven't heard from him since. I reckon I should contact him again. There has been talk about this in the mods' section, so it is a known issue. I should make a disclaimer that this is what I know. I am not privy to everything, so maybe there is something else to it, but it doesn't seem so.

I can't edit the sigs of other Staff members. Are you using Chrome? I haven't been having any issues with links in sigs at all.

I can see my sig link in Chrome (on PC and Android Phone), Internet Explorer (on PC and Windows Phone), Opera, Tor browser, Brave browser, The Sherdog App on my phone, UC BrowserHD on my tablet, but not in Firefox. Yes, I have a lot of browsers but Firefox is the one that I use on this forum.

The other day I had a user tell me they couldn't see my sig links so maybe he's using FF too? @Myrddin Wild can you see my sig links and what browser are you on?

Even before that change, your sig was never linkable on my browser.

When you say "never" do you mean just since you were aware of this issue a few weeks ago or even before that? So odd that editing a sig will screw it up now.
