His punches are not so good so how does he win so much against elite kickboxers like Kraus, Masato, Holzken, Chahbari etc

I mean, his hands are decent enough. He's dropped and KO'd top level guys with his hands.

Same with Saenchai, the guy only wins by kicking
Well firstly he does more than just kick but its not so much them winning by kicking. Its them winning the way they know how. You're comparing Buakaw to Holzken and Klaus but the issue with kb is its a small sport and not as competitive as high level boxing or muaythai out in Thailand. Just like you see some Thai's dominating by "mostly" kicking if you had a high level prime boxer in there who learnt a bit of kickboxing they would beat many kickboxers by "mostly" boxing.

You don't really have to speak in generalities when you can see that Buakaw definitely fought quality opponents during the MAX days so it's not a situation of lack in competition or a flaw in Kickboxing as a sport, more so that the platform is dynamic enough where you can win with whatever tools you bring to the table provided you are skilled enough.

Buakaw basically won his second MAX tournament with punches.

Kickboxing is competitive. I wasn't denying that. Its just not as competitive as MT or Boxing.

Experience, for the most part. He'll read his opponent, figure out how to take them out of their game and control the fight.

He is not a great boxer, but has shown to be an effective puncher.

He's not a punch specialist but he definitely has good hands. Of course he has proven plenty of times that you can dominate with kicks and knees even when the judges give them half the value of a punch.

he got lucky for like 300 times in a row.

It's pretty impressive winning almost all your fights with kicks

If you look at his record he's actually got more KO and TKO wins with punches than with kicks, knees or elbows.

He's very experienced, an increible athlete, has a good chin...

Sometimes he is just more physically stronger and overwhelming. His clinch will make you gasp for separation as soon as he ties you up. He has ungodly power in his knees. A lot of mma strikers have weak af knees, but these Thai fighters like Buakaw, have perfected the knee.

Why li

yeah thats true, but do you know which record of Buakaw is correct? 200+ wins 23 losses or 200+ wins 43 losses?

Where did you get the 43 losses from?

Also I think his record is missing some fights, his record on wikipedia is:

Total
265
Wins 230
By knockout 69
Losses 23
Draws 12

However I think it's missing a lot of his earlier stadium MT fights as the first fight on that record is from 2000 and I think he started fighting in the early 90's.
