Have People Tuned Out Media Outrage?

The media covers what gives them ratings.

The idea that the media has some secret secret agenda other than accumulating wealth is pretty funny if you ask me.

secret? they are openly biased. They even admit it.

You can cover him without the constant comparison to Adolf Hitler about everything he does...that is if money is what they are after

Alternative theory: the people that support Trump aren't watching/reading the news outlets that are critical of him and are instead watching/reading news that shill for him.

That's closer to the truth. In reality, a lot of them don't watch any kind of news at all. The republican party has always had a large base of low information voters who vote red because that's the party of jesus n' guns and waving flags. They don't need to tune out media outrage because they never tuned into it. Farmers generally don't watch rolling news channels or look at twitter or read broadsheet papers, they vote republican because that's who grandpa told them was the best.

What's interesting is that Trump, Imo, just pulled the greatest gaff of his presidency in the Helsinki summit, but since the media is already operating at 10 they couldn't turn the knob any higher. They reacted the same way to eating two scoops of ice cream.

i'd argue yes, and for both sides

Fox was clearly fledgling during Obama's second term, with their hyperbolic statements on Islam and other things

Now, the left leaning stations/networks (pretty much every single other one) are doing the same thing. People are also opening up to the fact that every single major media outlet is corporate backed and prints clickbait bs.

There's a reason people like Jimmy Dore and Sargon get so many views on YT, shit just look at that Styxhexenhammer guy and remember that tens of thousands are getting info from a guy that looks like that....why is that so? b/c people don't trust corporate shills

Condescension...

Could this have anything to do with people tuning out?

It's literally the most prestigious newspaper in the Western Hemisphere and perhaps the world.
That might have been true.......

.... in the last century.

Newspapers are going the way of Walkman CD players.

Hell, I bet you don't even get the majority of your own personal news from a newspaper anymore.

Are you talking about journalists who colluded with Clinton during the campaign (and partly funded it) or the opinion writers who create lovely stories about the joys of communism?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Crying wolf effect.

Remember, before this the coverage was Trump was rounding up children and putting them in Nazi-style concentration camps

Styx used to post on a popular forum before he was yt famous. You should have seen him 10 years ago...

It seems that the people simply do not care so much about Russia as the media would like to believe.

Gallop Poll: Americans don’t really care about Russia
http://www.capecharlesmirror.com/news/gallop-poll-americans-dont-really-care-about-russia/

"The percentage of Americans saying “Situation with Russia” is the most important problem is literally too small to represent with a number. ”

Surprising and also very, very bad news for dems, because Russia is pretty much their main political agenda and election strategy.

Lol that’s not what the poll says at all. Lots of dems care about Russia, it’s just not our main concern. Probably not in my top 10 but I certainly care

....we all do, just in digital format. Even the shit-tier publications like Breitbart have to rely on scoops from their betters, before distorting and prepping it for outrage.

All of the meaningful investigative journalism is done by newspapers. They uncover all the scandals and scoops: NYT, Washington Times, The Intercept, The Guardian, Boston Globe.

Just because dolts have decided they don't like facts doesn't change the fact that the major newspapers are our primary source of information, and the rest are just distributors. It wasn't until Fox News that the model of just editorializing other people's findings became the norm.

I don't understand why people aren't listening or taking you more seriously.

Hating on Trump is selling dude.

Sorry this hurts your feelings.

and the REAL reason why people the left HATES Fox News...people actually listen to them

If Fox got CNN's ratings, no one would even care

So you admit that FOX gets more ratings than anyone else but you still want to make pretend there is some secret media agenda?

Not an argument. It appears more like an implicit concession on your part.
