Gohkan Saki: overrated or undersized?

Mark Hunt disagrees with the K-1 haters

You never see Demian Maia just getting caught doing a sloppy guard pass...
Apples and oranges. It only takes one shot standing. Submissions take multiple steps and time to set up, but we have seen him get swept and people have passed his guard because of errors on the ground.

this guy is 34 years old + 100 matches ... do the math.

Rico would just run around on a bike kicking his legs off.

If Joshua learned to check tho, Rico's glass chin would get kratk.

a c/d level boxer (in his late thirties) has already clapped a few kickboxing legends and even when he lost, he looked good.

joshua would have strangled him in front of his family.

More like Over The Hill.

He stopped kickboxing in 2015 and is trying to make a comeback in MMA at 34 in 2018.

Problem is you can't afford to make as many mistakes in MMA as in K1 or boxing. You make a sloppy move in K1, get dropped and get a count, and can regroup, but in MMA you just get jumped on and its over.

Too soon to tell..Got caught

Well. Saki has 60 KOs againts guys weight over 100kg and he KOed them with big gloves. You must have some 'thing' to do that. So no he is not overrated.
That counter punch would drop most of the division but and again most of this division would survive that with groung game which khalil has none.
Yes he is undersized but thats what he likes and thats what made him special in his during prime. He was just hard hitter with lightning combos.
Short of long ; He is out of his prime but he still got enough to reach the top 5.

Gokun Saki looked soft in this fight, dunno how but he was all saggy
