  • The Flys - “Got You Where I Want You”
  • The Mike Flowers Pops - “Wonderwall
  • The Sisters of Mercy - “More”
  • Versus - “Thera”
  • Wamdue Project - “King of My Castle”
  • Wheatus - “Teenage Dirtbag”

Nice, that's an impressive list. Some surprising results there.

This is some lame shit right here.

This might be my craziest find. They technically don't count because they have one other hit. But what's crazy is this was apparently the #1 song in the country at some point in 1998, and I have zero recollection of it. I don't even recognize the group! I've never heard this anywhere. Not at a dance, not at a party, not in a commercial, not in a movie promo, not on MTV/VH1, not on the radio on the daily rides to and home from school. And I listened to a lot of R&B at the time, and also since.

Did the calling come out in the 90s? I swear it was the 2000s?

I remember that lol. Wasn't sure until the chorus. Definitely not something I would have ever remembered on my own.

Holy shit, can't believe we've missed this one. Awesome song.
