Really I think the most damaging aspect of Goodridges career was his latter K-1 run were he was just being paid to get beaten up, his latter MMA fights didn't tend to result in much punishment just a quick loss via grappling.

His career before that I think he should be commended in that he was one of the early pioneers of the sport who then also evolved with it and had a pretty good spell of form in the mid 00's only losing to Fedor and Nog for a few years. Granted he wasn't beaten other top guys either but still 11-2 vs mostly legit comp wasn't bad at all.

He should have retired in 2003 when he had his first retirement fight against Frye and KO'd him with a head kick.
