I'm not a snowflake, but it pisses me off when someone gets slandered like that, especially when they're not a public person, and the person who slanders them is. It's an abuse of power and their platform. And it's bad when either side does it to either side. The college student may be further to the left than the CNN pundit for all I know. In fact, if I had to bet, I would bet that because college students tend to be pretty left, whereas CNN pundits tend to be corporatist establishment Democrat hacks. Either way, it doesn't matter.
