Yeah, has nothing to do with the fact that he's 40 and been through gruelling wars during the past decade and a half. Can't be that.
 
Fedor should have stayed retired, he was done a long time ago... He was past his prime in Affliction, showing barely anything that made him the GOAT in Pride, and just head-hunting the whole time

Anyone surprised at this outcome is just blinded by their love for Fedor. Matt is too big, fast and heavy handed for him.
 
I respect the need to compete... But come on Fedor... Preserve your ability to eat with a spoon! What are you trying to prove? You are still the HW GOAT, easily..

The essentially undefeated fighter with 28 wins in no testinn land, comes to America, goes 3-3...retreats to Russia and Japan where testing doesn't happen, wins 5 straight...comes back to drug test land and can't make it out of the first round.

Believe what you want, I'll believe what the circumstantial evidence shows.

And almost all of them have half of the number of fights as Fedor, and haven't spend decades competing at the top level in contact sports. Remember: Fedor not only has over 40 MMA fights, he has also competed at the top level of Sambo for decades. That's a whole lot of mileage on your body. Then to basically retire for a few years, and attempt a half-assed comeback as you approach 40? Come on.

It's not the same thing, and you know it.
 
This actually was the tyoe of fight that gave Fedor a chance. Mitrione has no wrestling which Fedor has extreme trouble against. Mitrione also stands right in front of him and brawls. It came down to who's tougher and Mitrione proved to be tougher.

No other MMA fighter has had more excuses for losing then Fedor.

Don't forget that Fedor also competed in sanctioned MMA fights in the US, both during his time in Pride as well as afterward in Affliction and Strikeforce, and was therefore subject to the same testing standards as any other fighter competing in the US (including the UFC) at that time. And he has never been flagged for PEDs. Additionally, Fedor competed in international Sambo tournaments that have tested for PEDs -- including under governance by the same organization that tests Olympic athletes. We literally have no evidence that Fedor has ever used PEDs, and no one has ever come forward other than the random Internet troll to speculate about it.

And now talk about why Fedor lost? Around the time of the Big Tim fight, and before the Arlovski fight, Fedor's manager and trainers said the only reason why he keeps winning is "due to his old tricks." They openly talked about how he had other priorities in life at this point.

Combined together, this destroys your "circumstantial evidence."

Fedor lost tonight because (a) he's older, (b) he's slower, (c) his chin isn't the same, (d) Mitrione hits hard. Trying to destroy his legacy is nothing but baseless fighter bashing. And if Sherdog still had decent mods, you'd get tagged with a yellow.
