In this old-ass interview Fedor (at 10:20 mark) easily does 20 pull ups. He also said (for some Ukraine site) that his max squat and bench is the same, around 170-180kg.

Can you imagine DC, Cain or Stipe doing similar? I can see it only on squat for all 3, bench maybe DC, and 20 pull ups i think its possible if all three are doing their max and we sum it all up (last one ofcourse is a joke, but not so far from truth...).

There are also alot of videos where he effortlessly does 30+ explosive low dips.

Which of the HW you think can be compered to the GOAT when it comes to overall (Bodyweight and powerlifting) strenght?

He is deceptively strong. Dude looks like a pudgy MW, but hits like a sledge-hammer. His grappling power and technique were insane as well.

Surely Pudzianowski at the beginning of his MMA career before he lost size.

I was more thinking about successful ones... But yeah, Pudz is the strongest (but not the most powerfull, that title goes to Hunt or maybe Ford Escort:)

He has the lifelong Sambo strength with a natural genetic body type that is well suited to generate explosion and power. A lot of it has gone away due to injury and being unable to drill the same sort of way, but he can still do it for moments.

The pullups were slightly kipped so not so strict. He could probably do 15 or so strict.

Yes, but all athletes with good SC program use (slightly, not crossfit-style) kipping pull ups at some point of their training periodization.
Strict are good for injury prevention and strength, but kipping are far superior for power and speed development.

I agree but it looks like he could have kept going if he wanted too, was just super setting in between sparring

Fighters like Mark Coleman have remarked about his surprising physical strength.

Also, check out the videos where Fedor and Ubereem try to arm wrestle Bob Sapp. Both lose, but Fedor surprisingly did better than full-size Alistair.

Its just plain hard for HWs to do a ton of pull ups. I weigh 170 lbs, I can do more than most but I dont often see HWs who can do even 10 properly. I didnt watch the vid, but 20 for a HW is impressive IMO.

lol Iam so far away from a professional athlete and those pull ups are nothing... Anyone with some cardio training and a good diet will do that easy peasy.
gsp method of gymnast training is way more challenging pull ups, push ups, abs, plank. That shit is just the basic stuff, even Cher at 71 years young does plank for 5 minutes, I bet she can double those pull ups

    * Iam 185 pounds so not hw. and I confess at 220 I could not do 1 pull up :)

Yeah they both have advantages but if someone is going to kip at least call them kipping pullups.

Not the most perfect pull up I have ever seen, nonetheless, still 20 more than the average Shertard is capable of
