5- Jones Jones has shown absolutely no interest in putting himself in a situation where all the main physical advantages aren't on his side.


Fedor is more skilled than Jon Jones. By far. There's actually proper ART in what Fedor does. What Fedor does results from timing, technique and many years of training. You could learn a lot more about Martial Arts from Fedor than from Jon Jones. Fedor can actually teach you how to throw someone, even if you are not a physical specimen. Jon Jones couldn't teach how to do what he does unless you're fighting someone who looks like a midget next to you.

Yes Fedor is more overall skilled, but Jones is a 6'4 guy with the reach of a 6'9 guy while Fedor and DC have the height and reach of a typical lightweight.

It's a shame you weren't around to it see these things so you would know what you were talking about. Fedor fought guys way better than bigfoot and mitrione, but being 15+ years and 35+ fights into a career does not usually equate to being in one's fighting prime, nor does being in your 40s like vs mitrione. Do you really believe Bisping would have beat Anderson (or even survived to decision?) before Anderson lost to Weidman? Going undefeated that long can totally F up your psyche when you do get caught.

However you are clearly very biased as evidenced by other b******* statements like "chinless ufc reject" when Bigfoot went on to fight in the ufc right after and was top 10 for years, even top 5 for a bit.

Until a couple years ago heavyweight and light heavyweight were absolutely littered with guys from PRIDE and the UFC from Fedor's era who were clearly way past there Prime but still relevant (several top 5) because those divisions have not progressed aside from Jon Jones and DC. Some of those are the same guys Fedor beat back when they WERE in their prime. Fedor of 10 years ago would run through today's heavyweight and light heavyweight division aside from possibly DC or Jones.

Cans is the wrong word but one dimensional Brawlers is the right description. Crocop had good kicks and fast hands pretty much it, same story with Mark hunt but just hands. Nog had good bjj but very little in the way of striking or wrestling skills. Andre was the best fighter on the list but his chin was about as strong as paper mache’.
